I'm still alive...

It's a shame and embarrassing at how long it has been in between posts! I'm sure lives all across the globe were put on hold wondering "What will happen with 'The Bronco Project?'" OK, so no one really cared, but I'm glad to have some progress to show (although not enough!) Turns out being a baby-daddy takes some time. My wife is loving enough to allow me some garage time, and for my birthday, she gave the green light to order the fender flares! Higgy (David) found a great site (http://www.broncodesign.com), where the owner makes quality classic Bronco fiberglass parts (tubs, scoops, fender flares, etc) at great prices. I haven't gotten the parts yet, but after swapping a few emails with the guy... he and his business seem very solid. More on those, hopefully with pics of them installed, to come on the blog before too long!

For now, I was hoping the next update would show a fully painted (outer body) red truck, but alas, I'm not quite there yet.... still have the hood and some other parts on front to go. However, It was way past time for an update, so here are some pics of the painted sides and grill:

(Oh and yes, the lovely redneck "lawnchair for a driver seat" is still in there. I'm hoping to cut out the floor board and replace that sooner than later to get the real seats (Duct tape and all) back in there)

Ok.... I need an update. I've seen these pictures several times. Put Griffin down for a minute and take some pics of your other baby. Hahaha!
